A letter...
I have taken my time in responding to this, wanting to be sure I didn’t respond out of hurt or anger, or with any kind of malice. I am still learning to trust myself, you see.
But I find myself unwilling to accept the pretty lie you offer me. I only ever asked that you be honest with me. That is quite literally the ONLY thing I ever asked of you.
